Step on Board statue is dedicated.

Artist: Fern Cunningham. The statue of Harriet Tubman is located in Harriet Tubman Park at 450 Columbus Avenue. One of two statues that are the first on city-owned property to honor a woman, it commemorates the Maryland-born abolitionist leader who made several visits to Boston, including one to Julia Henson who lived on nearby Holyoke Street.
